THE NEW SHAAKUNTALAM RELEASE DATE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

Shaakuntalam, a pan-Indian film starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has finally received a release date. The movie is scheduled to premiere on April 14, 2023. The most well-known folklore in India is Kalidasa's Shakuntala, an epic tale from ancient India that is well-known in Indian mythologies. This story has been used in numerous television shows and movies before being adapted for the big screen.

Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar, stars Samantha. The up to this point released music videos and trailers were well welcomed. The film's release date was originally scheduled for February 17 but was delayed by the producers for a number of reasons.

The epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant, who fall in love, was depicted in the teaser. The film transports us to a fantastic universe thanks to the stunning scenery and cinematography. In this mythical tale, Dev Mohan will fall in love with Samantha.

Yashoda is where Samantha was last seen. Along with Shaakuntalam, the Indian ship from the Russo brothers' castle, she will perform as well. Prince Bharata is portrayed in the movie by Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha, which is based on the well-known drama Shaakuntalam. This movie was made by Neelima Guna and Gunaa Team Works. There will be significant roles for Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Madhoo, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananya Nagalla. The music for this movie is being written by Mani Sharma.
